The next Cal-Ore hydroplane race is set for August 18-19th at Klamath Glen, California as part of the ‘Salmon Festival.’  Time trials are Saturday, 11am to 1pm and the race is Sunday, 12 noon to 2pm. Click on the printable map below for race layout, parking, and best viewing areas.

My Circle K powered by Colvin Oil are proud title sponsors for the 2018 CalOre River Racing Series.  The season kicks off this weekend May 12th and 13th, with the second series of races taking place Memorial Day Weekend in Grants Pass. The series heads south to Willow Creek California June 9th and 10th, back to Hoopa June 16th and 17th, they’ll be in Rogue River for Rooster Crow June 30th and July 1st, Gold Beach July 8th, Klamath California August 18th and 19th and then finish the season Labor Day Weekend in Grants Pass.

Grants Pass Resident Wins $55,000

 Kickback and Locally Owned My Circle K Will Be Awarding A $55,000 Check

Grants Pass OR – —- Verna Dietert has been a KickBack Points cardholder for five years. Her loyalty paid off this week when she was named the winner of Kickback’s 2016 Grand Prize contest just for using her Kickback Points card at her locally owned My Circle K, and on Friday, February 24^th at 2pm will be presented with a check for $55,000 at the Grants Pass My Circle K at 650 Redwood Hwy.

“I am so excited and still can’t believe it really happened,” Dietert said, who was notified on Feb. 17 that her name was selected at random from the hundreds of thousands of eligible KickBack cardholders. “I always use my KickBack card because it’s fun collecting points and getting free stuff, but I never imagined that being a KickBack member would so rewarding. Thank you KickBack!”

Dietert, who is a loyal My Circle K customer in Grants Pass, Ore, said she first registered for the KickBack card in 2012. She uses the card several times per week when filling up the Circle K, which is owned by Medford, Ore.-based Colvin Oil, or when shopping inside the store for energy drinks and snacks.

As KickBack’s Grand Prize winner, Dietert had a choice between a 2017 Corvette Stingray or the cash equivalent. She opted for the cash, which she called “life changing.” “A lot of family and friends wanted me to take the car, but I will be able to help my kids and do a lot of good things with the money,” Dietert said. “It’s a life-changing experience that couldn’t have come at a better time.”
